Imagine getting yourself into a comfortable sitting or lying position, being guided through a short visualisation to relax your body and mind, and then being taken on a journey through your senses with a soundscape created by Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, toning and overtoning.
Throughout this experience, you experience deep relaxation; a sense of inner peace; gain great insights into your life journey; and experience everything from tingling sensations to Sound Baths are group sound healing sessions, held on a regular basis for the purpose of deep relaxation and healing in an informal setting.
Sessions are often themed or tailored to special events or topics such as ‘Balancing the Chakras’, ‘Healing the Heart’, ‘Sound Healing Day’, ‘Summer Solstice’ or ‘Full Moon’.
Each session begins with a short meditation which then leads into a soundscape created with the Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, toning and over toning, allowing you to relax deeply while being immersed in the sound. Depending upon the group and the theme, we may also start and/or end with a short mantra or vocal work. Group sizes will vary depending on location and available space. It is advisable that you arrive a few minutes early so as not to interrupt the session. It’s also important for you to bring along a mat and/or blanket to lie on for the duration of the sound bath.
